Liability Waiver

As a condition of your pet being involved with any training with Rickfield Farm Agility Club, the Waiver and Assumption to Hold Harmless must be signed upon registration. I understand that Rickfield Farm Agility Agility Training Centre will exercise all due diligence and care in the guardianship of my pet. I hereby waive and release Rickfield Farm Agility Training Centre, it’s owner, employees and agents from all liability of any nature, for injury or damage, including that which may result from the action of any dog including my own, and expressly assume the risk of such damage or injury while my dog participates in any service of Rickfield Farm Agility Training Centre, while on the grounds or the surrounding area thereto or designated alternative training environment.

 

During a group class or private training session there may be times when one or more dogs are off-leash during the class and I understand that this setting is not without some risk of injury, that despite all dogs appearing healthy and being handled with the greatest amount of care and foresight, dogs are not always predictable and the unexpected may occur. I recognize that the benefits of such training are valuable to my dog and accept the potential risks. I further agree to pay veterinary/medical expenses incurred as a result of injury to or caused by my dog.

I understand that any dog entering the Rickfield Farm property will be up to date with all vaccinations DHPP or equivalent, Bordetella and Rabies). I agree to provide a copy of my dog's up-to-date vaccination certificate. 

 

All dogs must be leashed and under full control by the handler while on the premises, unless under

the supervision of an instructor during a training session.

By choosing to utilize the services for my pet(s) or have my pet(s) participate in activities at Rickfield Farm Agility Club, I agree to the following:

 

Payment
I agree to pay the registration fee in full to Rickfield Farm Agility Club, upon registration in order to hold a spot in a group or private class. Payments can be made by e-transfer to rgpitfield@gmail.com.

Payment of the Private Training Sessions fees are due within 24 hours of making an appointment time/date.

 

Please contact Rosemary Pitfield if you would like to arrange a different payment date. 

 

CANCELLATIONS

Group Lessons: I understand that once I have secured a spot in a group session, this cannot be cancelled or deferred unless for medical reasons (human and dog). Should I be aware of dates that I will be away prior to booking a group session, I will contact  Rosemary Pitfield (rgpitfield@gmail.com) in advance to discuss. 

 

Private lessons: Cancellation must be made 7 days in advance unless for medical reasons (human and dog).

Rickfield Farm Agility Training Centre reserves the right to cancel or defer lessons (Group and Private) due to weather related conditions such as Extreme Heat (Humidex over 37), Smoke and air quality issues, Thunderstorms and Winter Storms. In the event of a cancellation, Group classes will have an additional class added to their schedule. Should a student participating in a group session not be able to attend the alternate date, they will not be provided a private lesson and will forfeit that lesson. Private lessons will have their class moved to an agreed upon date. 

Photo and video release

I agree that photographs or videos of my pet may be taken and published by Rickfield Farm Agility Training Centre on its website, social media sites or for use in other advertising mediums.

Code of Conduct

1. I agree to never ridicule or make fun of another participant for a poor performance or practice.

2. I will act in a sportsmanlike manner and not engage in aggressive behaviour, foul language, or use offensive gestures.

3. I will refrain from handling my dog(s) roughly or inhumanely.

4. I agree to always place the welfare of my dog(s) as paramount. 

5. I agree to respect the rules and Policies of Rickfield Farm Agility Training Centre
